About Eazy Deli

Eazycuizine was started by Julie & James who escaped the rat race with a view to offering the consumer a solution to great tasting food without the use of additives and preservatives. The result was a product for busy people who lead hectic lives that need convenience but do not want to compromise on quality and ethics.

Eazycuizine has now joined forces with Roger Buckner from Dial a Deli who shares this vision. Roger was one of the first Eazycuizine customers and has been in the food industry for over 20 yrs. His pursuit for the best food products is relentless searching the UK high and low till he finds the best products. Roger has 700 loyal customers he visits each month who buy directly from him.

Dial a Deli

In the winter of 1988, armed only with his old Austin Allegro and his courage, Roger Buckner took a load of smoked salmon and smoked haddock and went knocking at the doors of his neighbourhood to make a bit of money.

"The idea came from our neighbors. They knew we regularly went to Grimsby where the fish is fresh and cheap. They were asking for a pound of haddock, or cod and we would duly oblige. Then we realized there was a little profit to make in this," Roger explains.

With a bit of help from family and friends, he bought enough stock to last him through the festive season. "People were interested and I thought there would be a market for it. So, I started as part time alongside my normal job of residential social worker."

But two part-time jobs are much more demanding than one full-time. The time of decision came after a major motorcycle accident, which could have left Roger in a wheelchair if it wasn't for the rucksack that protected his back. After three months of recovery, he opted for the deli.

"I had no plan to expand nor take the business full-time before I had this terrible motorbike accident. But after, I soon decided to try the market and extend the range of products I was offering and not go back into social care."

Eazydeli is Born……!

The joint venture known as EazyDeli will offer an on-line shopping facility of over 250 products with everything from the finest Loch Fyne Salmon to an Award winning Family Fish Pie by Eazycuizine. Pre-prepared hampers and seasonal gifts and items will also be available throughout the year for delivery nationwide.
